Engineering Design Services for UST Removal and AST Installation Project
The Prudential Committee (the “Awarding Authority”) of the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire District (the “COMM”), a Fire District organized and existing under GL Ch 48, Section 60, et seq, and By-Laws promulgated as Ch 259 of the Acts of 1993 (as amended) seeks preliminary design applications pursuant to the COMM Designer Selection Procedures and G.L. c. 7C, §§44-58, for the removal of two (2) 2,500 gallon underground fuel storage tanks (“USTs”) (1x Diesel and 1x Gasoline) which service the COMM’s vehicles and those of other districts; one (1) 1,000 gallon UST servicing a generator, one empty 500 gallon, decommissioned waste oil tank and, all associated electrical connections, monitors, piping, pumps, fixtures (including bollards and related safety features) located at the rear, southeasterly corner of Station #1, the Headquarters building, 1875 Falmouth Rd./Route 28, Centerville, Ma 02632; and, the installation of a single, 4000 gallon above ground, ConVault FAST bifurcated, double walled fuel storage tank (an “AST”) for gasoline and diesel fuel (50/50) storage and dispensation and, one (1), 1,000 gallon (diesel) replacement ConVault FAST AST to replace that serving the generator, together with all requisite licenses, permits, authorizations for the construction and installation of all associated electrical connections, controls, monitors, piping, pumps, fixtures including bollards, related safety features and, restoration of all disturbed areas of pavement, curbs, striping and lawns and the erection/installation of all warning signs and devices. The Awarding Authority will retain the option to amend and extend the preliminary design contract to include final design services, development of the final construction plans, administrative and construction management of the construction contract.

All proposals must be submitted electronically at Beacon Bid no later than September 11th, 2026 at 12:00 PM and must be submitted in accordance with the instructions outlined in the RFQ.
